A Confident Heart (How to stop doubting yourself and live in the security of God's promises)is a faith building, life changing, encouraging read. The author, Renee Swope, shares with the reader her life history and experiences regarding doubt, worry, and insecurity. It is so easy to relate to Renee because she is so transparent and real in expressing her transformation from being insecure and unfulfilled in who she was (in Christ) to becoming a confident, secure woman who
can stand in the truth and promises of God and his Word without doubting - and freeing herself from the lies of Satan. The author uses God's word throughout the book to convict, correct, and encourage a healthy perspective of self and self-worth. Many of the chapters were very eye opening for me in helping to reveal areas in my spiritual walk that may need adjustment that I previously have not contemplated. I was very impressed with the writing style in this book and was engaged throughout, gleaning something that I could contemplate and meditate on in every chapter. I recommend that every woman read this well-written book, even if you don't think you have a confidence or self-worth issue.

The Juice Lady's Living Foods Revolution
This was an amazing book! The author, Cherie Calbom, is so personable and begins with her true life story of a traumatic event that happened to her, and the changes that the end result of this event caused her to she make in her lifestyle and diet. She speaks about God in a relevant and applicable way throughout the book, and gives great insight into food consumption, our bodies, and general food lifestyle habits. She has great information, facts, and statistics, including that only 26% of adults are getting over three servings of fruits or vegetables a day! The chapters are informative but not boring. She touches on why we should juice for our vegetable/fruit consumption, why it helps an individual lose weight and the effects it has on each body system, how to detox, and also includes a diet plan and full color recipes for juices, smoothies, and main dishes. After reading this book I was painfully aware of my shortcomings in consuming enough fruits and vegetables. The statistics were mind blowing and sobering. I honestly immediately went online to an auction site and purchased an industrial juicer. The book has triggered a positive change for myself and my family, and although hesitant at first, I am very glad I took the time to read this book, and I think you should read it too!I received this book from the publisher.
